Ever since seeing the Elie Saab couture show pictures and falling in love with all the mint coloured dresses, I have been utterly obsessed with mint green! At the moment I am putting together my spring/summer wardrobe and have become obsessed with finding a pair of mint green trousers. I finally found the perfect ones, but as per they are too expensive for student my budget... Why is it that everything I fall in love with is designer?!
I'm not into football and I don't follow any footballer news or gossip apart from what my boyfriend happens to tell me, so I had never heard of Zahia Dehar and the footballer / prostitution scandal. However I was reading a newspaper online which was talking about her and how she has turned from prostitute to lingerie designer. She even had her shoot photographed by Karl Lagerfeld! On reading this I was disgusted and went on a "it kills me how people get famous now a days" rant but then I googled her....
After watching this video and others I can see how this girl is actually disgustingly beautiful and prostitution or not she probably would have made it to Hollywood anyway! I then went on to look at Google images of her and I must say before Vanity fair and the likes cleaned her up she wasn't looking so chic but hey everybody has a past and nobody's perfect!
Mango has been one of my favourite high street shops for a long time now. When they get it right, they really get it right and I just love their tailored department. I'm not a huge Kate Moss fan but I can appreciate that the lady's got style! So seeing Kate as the face of Mango is actually quite exciting as you can immediately tell that there will be an abundance of blazers, tailored shorts and shirts. Can't wait to shop!
The leather trend has carried over a few seasons now and I love it and I NEVER want it to go out of fashion! I've always been a fan of leather and I love any kind of leather detailing. I especially like a nude or pastel coloured leather number for the spring (Wow how many times have can you say the word leather in one post!). A few weeks back I saw a few pictures of Louise Roe in a magazine wearing a pink leather pencil skirt and a red one. I absolutely fell in love with the pink one and immediately hunted it down. I found out that it's from Tibi and is £560! Unfortunately I can't afford that so I'm just trailing through Ebay and vintage shops at the moment. So far I haven't had any luck but I am hoping that I will find one before spring sets in!

I saw this dress on the Miss Selfridge website before Christmas and was planning to wear it on NYE but to my dismay it was completely sold out. Now I know the dress is a little bit pricey and I am meant to be saving my money... but it just came back into stock and I am actually in love with this dress. So I bought it. Every time I see it I get butterflies and my heart skips a beat etc. So don't judge me ok!
It's my birthday in March so I am planning to wear it then, unless another special occasion pops up.
A trend that I keep seeing amongst the beautiful people is the matching short and jacket combo. I first spotted the look on Kourtney K and since then I just keep seeing it everywhere! I've never really been a fan of matching but I really like this trend and can't wait until spring to try it out.

I haven't been able to find a short suit combo that I like yet, although Asos have a few options:
Beyonce might be the Divalicious superstar out of the Knowles sisters but Solange should definitely be recognised for her AMAZING style. Don't get me wrong, I am a huge Beyonce fan, massive, but she isn't really known for having a particularly exciting style. Whereas Solange on the other hand has this amazing and interesting personal style that I just want to imitate. I love everything she wears simply because of the way she wears it, she knows what suits her figure and which colours look great and she's found her style niche which is that vintage but modern, amazonic, boho, African queen kinda feel. I Love it!
